A Huge Success: One in Five's 2025 Extremely Long Lunch at the MCG

ree

We're thrilled to share the incredible success of our 2025 Extremely Long Lunch, held at the iconic MCG on Saturday 11 October.

This year’s event brought together over 350 attendees, and what a day it was! Between the laughs, moments of reflection, research updates from Assoc Prof Rachel Hill, and non-stop entertainment from Ambassadors Bernard and Stephen Curry, Josh Reid Jones, and the incredible Johnny Wonderpants band, we raised over $100,000 for fellowships in eating disorders and mental health.

The Extremely Long Lunch also marked the official launch of our monthly giving community, the Circle of Hope. We are so grateful to everyone who committed to a monthly contribution on the day to support ongoing medical research into mental illness. If you’re interested in joining or learning more, please get in touch or visit oneinfive.com.au/circleofhope

We could not have achieved this event without the dedication and effort of our entire team, and we are all so excited to carry this momentum forward as we plan for 2026 and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and supported One in Five at the 2025 Extremely Long Lunch. You are truly making a real difference in the lives of those affected by mental ill health.
