About this event

The Extremely Long Lunch is One in Five's signature annual fundraising event, bringing together community leaders, corporate partners, researchers, advocates and supporters for an unforgettable afternoon of connection, inspiration and impact.

Held in the iconic Olympic Room at the MCG, guests enjoy a premium long lunch experience featuring exceptional food and wine, entertainment, inspiring speakers, auctions, raffles and powerful stories that highlight the importance of mental health research.

Since its inception, the Extremely Long Lunch has helped raise significant funds to support groundbreaking medical research into mental illness, including depression and suicide prevention, eating disorders, women's mental health and other complex mental health conditions.

More than a fundraising event, the Extremely Long Lunch is an opportunity to come together as a community, celebrate hope, honour those affected by mental illness, and invest in research that has the power to change and save lives.

Join us as we continue our mission to create a future where fewer families experience the heartbreak of mental illness and suicide.
