Bolt Blowers Surf Competition 2008
Bolt Blowers are a group of like minded surfers, snowboarders, skaters and artists who have been effected in some way either directly or indirectly by mental illness. Each year the Blowers hold a retro Surf Contest to raise both public awareness and funds for their parent charity "One in Five" who in turn donate these funds to the Mental Health Research Institute of Victoria.
Bolt Blowers Surf Competition was held on a cold, wet and windy Summer’s day at Gunnamatta Beach. Over 70 surfers braved the tough conditions and helped to raise over $30,000.
